Art qualified as a physiotherapist in Greece in 2012 and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Advanced Physiotherapy Practice at Coventry University in 2014, graduating with distinction. He further expanded his expertise with a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Musculoskeletal Practice from the University of Birmingham in 2019 and a certificate in Advancing Physiotherapy Practice (ESP) in 2021.
With a diverse clinical background in both the NHS and private healthcare sectors, Art has extensive experience in assessing and managing a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological, sports injuries, post-COVID recovery, and frailty. He has also worked with Birmingham City Football Club Academy, where he gained specialist experience in treating sports injuries at an elite level.
Art is highly skilled in the treatment of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and sports-related conditions. His clinical toolkit includes acupuncture and injection therapy, and he also holds qualifications in Men’s Pelvic Health, offering expert care for a broader range of male-specific conditions.
Since joining Primary Care Physio in 2021 as a First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP), Art has completed the HEE Roadmap to Practice via the portfolio route. He now works in a Lead FCP capacity, providing clinical supervision, supporting colleagues with Roadmap progression, and contributing to the ongoing development of high-quality care in primary care settings.
He is an independent non-medical prescriber, an HEE Roadmap to Practice clinical supervisor, and a full member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP).
