Experience and Skills

Daya began her journey into teaching, where she taught students in the Primary sector for 14 years. During this time, she identified a gap in mental health amongst younger students, to which she gained her qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy Diploma.

This helped her to provide counselling sessions to pupils and successfully managed a team across schools in the West Midlands. This ignited a keen interest in Reiki which Daya felt would further support and help young pupils. She is now fully qualified and trained holistic therapist who has been delivering treatments for the past 5 years.

Daya has delivered a range of therapy in different settings, including distant Reiki which has helped her reach clients from further locations. She hopes to further her practise to the wider community.

  BA (hons) Early Childhood Education
  Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  Counselling and Psychotherapy Diploma
  Reiki levels 1 and 2
